OPERATION GRAIN HARVEST ASSIST
Re-skilling our veterans
Operation Grain Harvest Assist is a program financially supported by O’Connors designed to facilitate the connection between the program participants and the businesses seeking staff, the participating veterans will be provided the opportunity to be paid for their work on the farm, many effectively doubling their Defence Pension in the process.
MALLEE MACHINERY FIELD DAYS
The Mallee Machinery Field Days are a major event on the agricultural calendar and one of the biggest field days in the state.
Held at a site on the Sunraysia Highway between Speed and Turriff – 42km south of Ouyen and 55km North of Hopetoun – the event attracts approximately 350 exhibitors and 8,500 visitors annually. The Mallee Machinery Field Days provide an opportunity for farmers to seek out and evaluate machinery and equipment on offer, along with demonstrating new technology and innovation for modern broadacre farming.
The field days are a fundraiser for the Speed Lions Club and many other local organisations.

WIMMERA MACHINERY FIELD DAYS
The Wimmera Machinery Field Days is one of country Australia’s largest agricultural and agribusiness trade shows.
Held at a purpose-built site at the Wimmera Events Centre at Longerenong near Horsham in western Victoria, the event focuses on innovation and development in primary production and agribusiness.
The Field Days is a showcase of the latest developments in farming practice, machinery, equipment, technology and services and act as a barometer for social, economic, agricultural prosperity and growth in the entire region.
O’Connors has supported the Wimmera Machinery Field Days as a major site holder since the beginning of the event and continues to support and exhibit at the event, now as O’Connors Machinery.
