Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of buying from a dealer?

When you buy through O’Connors, you’re not just buying a machine, you’re backing it with ongoing support. You have access to our Titan global network, diagnostic expertise, and a local team who understands your conditions and can help keep you running. We also make the process easier with finance options and trade-ins, so you can upgrade with confidence.

Are parts still available for older models?

While parts availability can become more limited as machines age, that’s exactly where buying through a dealer makes a difference. With a parts team of around 40 staff, including several with more than 10 years’ experience, O’Connors brings deep knowledge and a strong global supplier network to every challenge. Instead of searching on your own, our team puts their heads together to source the right parts, identify suitable alternatives, and advise on the most costeffective repair approach, helping keep your machine working and minimise downtime.

Can I finance used equipment?

Yes, you can finance used equipment through O’Connors using CNH Capital.

Our team can help tailor finance options to suit your operation, with flexible terms that make it easier to manage cash flow while upgrading your machinery. We handle the process end-to-end, so you can focus on getting the right equipment without the added complexity.

What is considered ‘high hours’ on farm equipment?

There’s no fixed number - “high hours” depends on the machine, its use, and how well it’s been maintained. A well-maintained higher-hour machine can still be a reliable, cost-effective option.

How important is service history when buying a used machine?

Service history is one of the most important factors, it shows how well the machine has been maintained and helps identify potential risks. A strong service record often matters more than hours alone.

How do I match equipment to my farm and horsepower requirements?

Choosing the right machine comes down to understanding your farm size, soil type, and the tasks you need to complete. Using a tractor or implement with too little power can slow your work, while a machine that’s too big can be costly and inefficient. Hours and condition also play a role in selecting the right equipment.
If you’re unsure, the team at O’Connors are here to help. We can assess your operation, discuss your needs, and recommend the ideal equipment and horsepower to keep your farm running efficiently, ensuring you make a confident purchase every time.
