O’Connors and CASE IH – A partnership built on history
O’Connors is the largest Case IH Dealer Network worldwide. On a local level, since the O’Connors dealership first opened in Birchip in north-west Victoria in 1964, we have been a proud supplier of International Harvester, and subsequently Case IH farm equipment following the merger of International Harvester with Case in 1985.
The union of these two machinery powerhouses was a catalyst for significant improvements in agricultural machinery, particularly Axial-flow Combine Harvester technology, and articulated high-horsepower tractors following the acquisition of the Steiger Tractor company by Case IH in 1986.
In the subsequent decades increases in power, capacity and efficiency in grain-harvesting came about from the R&D efforts of Case IH.
Case IH Combine Harvester technology, productivity, capability, and power have advanced significantly since International Harvester produced their first self-propelled combine in 1942.

The newest Axial-Flow 250 Series Combines are engineered for a high-efficiency harvest improving grain quality and minimising losses through superior mechanical design and improved technological capability including automated header height control (AHHC), the new auto clean-out feature which allows you to easily clean your machine between crop types or varieties with a push of a button and the optional AFS Harvest Command technology.
In 1991, Case IH took another revolutionary step forward in agricultural machinery with the release of the first Patriot Series self-propelled sprayer. The Patriot has continued to evolve with technological enhancements making it the world leader in its class.
